Job summary

Pérez Law in Pomona, California seeks an experienced Workers’ Compensation Case Manager to guide cases from intake to resolution on a collaborative, client‑focused team.

In this role you will be the primary contact for clients, coordinate depositions, hearings, and settlements, review medical reports, manage notes in MerusCase, and keep deadlines on track.

Spanish and English fluency are required, with a strong emphasis on organization, communication, and excellent service to injured workers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in workers’ compensation case management.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Proficiency in MerusCase or similar case management software.
• Familiarity with Apple technology (MacOS, iPhone, iPad).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients post-intake.
• Manage all aspects of workers’ compensation cases including: incoming calls, file reviews, denials and UR determinations, treating reports, and correspondence with opposing counsel.
• Schedule and prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, and settlements.
• Coordinate QME/AME processes.
• Hearings representative when required.
• Maintain timely communication with clients, attorneys, and team members.
• Maintain detailed case documentation in MerusCase and adhere to firm policies.
