Job summary

Kosmos in New York City is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to independently manage a comprehensive caseload and mentor support staff. You will navigate New York regulations, advocate at hearings, and provide clear guidance to clients throughout their cases.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of NY workers' compensation experience, strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills, and a commitment to high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active New York Bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of dedicated New York Workers' Compensation law experience.
• Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, negotiation and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a full workers' compensation caseload from intake to resolution.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, conferences and settlements.
• Maintain regular client communication with clear guidance and updates.
