Protouch Staffing in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Associate Attorney for its Workers' Compensation practice. The ideal candidate has minimum two years representing injured workers in NC and SC claims, and can manage cases from intake to resolution while delivering strong client advocacy.

Active NC and SC law licenses are required, with a JD from an accredited law school. This role offers a collaborative environment and long-term growth opportunities within a supported team.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina.
• Experience in Workers' Compensation litigation, plaintiff-side preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, advocacy and litigation skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.

Responsabilités

• Represent injured workers in Workers' Compensation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage an active caseload independently while collaborating with the legal team.
• Conduct client consultations and maintain regular client communication.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and settlement documents.
• Attend mediations, hearings, depositions, and other litigation proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Perform legal research and develop case strategies.
• Maintain compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
