Job summary

Haight, Brown & Bonesteel LLP seeks an attorney to join our Workers’ Compensation team in California. The role can be based in Walnut Creek or other CA offices including San Diego, LA, Sacramento, or Irvine.

The attorney will handle all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation, including depositions and appearances at the WCAB, and will develop strategies for efficient case resolution with responsibility at all levels of complexity.

Qualifications

• Experience in WC on either the defense or applicant side.
• Familiarity with the WCAB procedures and the California Workers’ Compensation laws.

Haight, Brown & Bonesteel LLP, a well-established civil defense litigation firm with offices throughout California, seeks an attorney to add to the team in our Workers’ Compensation practice group. This position can be in either our Walnut Creek office or our other offices in San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento or Irvine.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation including taking depositions and making appearances at the WCAB

Annual base salary: $155,000 to $195,000, set by demonstrated ability and level of responsibility rather than tenure, plus a $20,000 annual bonus for attorneys who exceed the firm’s quarterly billable hour requirements.
