Job Overview:
A growing Workers' Compensation law firm in Westminster, CA, is seeking a full-time Attorney to join their team. This role involves representing injured workers in various legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will advocate for clients through case management, legal paperwork, depositions, and litigation before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and State Superior Court. Location:

Westminster, CA

Duties:

1. Represent injured workers in legal proceedings
2. Meet with clients to discuss and assess cases
3. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other paperwork
4. Attend depositions and represent clients in litigation
5. Manage a full caseload effectively and efficiently
6. Litigate matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and State Superior Court
7. Maintain client relationships and provide legal guidance
8. Work with support staff to ensure case progress

Requirements:

1. Good standing with the California State Bar
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills
3. Ability to work with case management systems and other legal software
4. Strong interest in advocating for injured workers
5. Ability to handle complex cases with patience and creativity
6. A consistent, hardworking, and proactive attitude
7. Experience in Workers' Compensation law is a plus, but training will be provided

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
