Job summary

Hennessy & Roach, P.C. seeks an attorney to defend Workers’ Compensation cases in Illinois and Missouri and join our St. Louis, MO office.

The role involves litigating cases through all phases on behalf of employers and insurers, managing a personal caseload, drafting pleadings, and conducting legal research. Responsibilities include negotiations for settlements and appearances at hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings as required.

Qualifications

• J.D. required; licensed to practice in Illinois or Missouri (IL/MO).
• Experience defending workers’ compensation or general liability claims preferred.

Responsibilities

• Litigate workers' compensation and related GL matters through all phases.
• Manage a caseload, draft pleadings, and perform legal research as needed.
• Attend hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings.

Successful law firm seeks an attorney to defend Workers' Compensation cases in Illinois and Missouri to join our St Louis, MI office.

Job functions include litigating cases through all phases on behalf of Workers' Compensation cases with employers and insurers, management of individual caseload, drafting pleadings and conducting legal research as needed, negotiations for settlement, and attending hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and other proceedings.

Qualifications

• J.D. and license in Illinois or Missouri required. Both Illinois and Missouri licenses preferred.
• Experiencedefending workers’ compensation or general liability claims.
