Law-Offices-of-Bob-Nehora, based in Oakland, California, is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Attorney with at least 1 year of CA WC law experience. The role is in-office and includes handling a full caseload while supervising a team of case managers.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license (required).
• Minimum 1 year of workers’ compensation experience.
• Strong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor code.
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution.
• Negotiate and settlement of active cases.
• Appear at hearings, conferences, depositions, and trials as required.
• Supervise and provide direction to a team of case managers.
• Review case manager work to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper case progression.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement documents.
• Evaluate cases and lead settlement negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with WCAB procedures, deadlines, and internal workflows.

Position Overview
