A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Workers' Compensation Department inLancaster, PA. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in handling workers' compensation cases. The firm is looking for an attorney with a strong academic background and exceptional oral and written communication skills to assist in representing clients in workers' compensation matters.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation claims and proceedings.
  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents and draft pleadings.
  • Provide clients with expert legal counsel regarding their rights and the claims process.
  • Advocate for clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategies.
  • Participate in training sessions and seminars to continually develop legal knowledge.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
  • Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to advocate effectively in a legal setting.
