Job summary

Teplinsky Freeman seeks a paralegal to support attorneys handling workers’ compensation claims, managing case files from intake to resolution, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment while delivering exceptional client service.

Flexible hours; 1 day remote per week after 6-month review.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, paralegal license, or 2 years paralegal experience required.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
Experience in research, law, documentation, or a medical background is a plus.

Responsibilities

Summarize cases, draft and file pleadings, and prepare reports for attorneys.
Interpret medical records, research and investigate facts, and develop legal arguments.
Be the key point of contact for the client regarding their case. Address concerns and work with interested parties to further the case.
Organize and file documents related to completed and ongoing cases.
