Qualifications

• Prior workers’ compensation work experience required.
• Recent experience in a workers’ compensation setting within the last two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing litigation support to one attorney
• Managing client files
• Drafting legal pleadings, correspondence, and other documents as directed
• Preparing and filing pleadings and other legal documents
• Monitoring case schedules and filing deadlines
• Preparing discovery requests and responses
• Assisting in trial preparation, including hearing exhibits, wage loss and average weekly wage schedules
• Responding to inquiries from and interacting with clients, counsel, and the court
• Organizing and maintaining case files and documentation, electronically
• Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
