Protouch Staffing seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney in Chicago, IL. The candidate must be licensed to practice in Illinois and have at least one year of experience litigating workers' compensation claims in the state.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
• At least 1 year of experience litigating Illinois workers' compensation claims.
• Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters and handle all aspects of a case.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation cases from inception through resolution, including trial and appeal.
• Take depositions, gather evidence, and develop litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal opinions, appeals, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Handle court motions, court calls, pretrial proceedings, and related litigation matters.
• Represent clients before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission.
• Prepare and handle appeals as necessary.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality legal representation.
• Manage an appropriate caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong client service.
