Qualifications

• 4–6 years of legal assistant or paralegal experience, preferably in Workers' Compensation.
• Experience with filing in the Industrial Commission Online Network (I.C.O.N.) and BWC preferred.
• Proficient to expert-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with case management software and document management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear, professional legal documents.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Friendly, professional manner and appearance; adaptability and teamwork.
• Paralegal certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in workers' compensation matters and manage case documents.
• Schedule calls, conferences, hearings, and other events for the team.
• Maintain weekly docket of administrative hearings and file evidence with parties.
• Manage continuances and communications with the Industrial Commission.
• Prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials with witness coordination and document prep.
• Coordinate with clients, third party administrators, and opposing counsel as needed.
