Candidates should possess active bar membership in California and a minimum of three years defending claims for employers or carriers. Qualifications
Must defend workers' compensation claims for employers or carriers.
Demonstrated ability to bill north of 180 hours per month consistently.
Strong organizational skills are required.
Responsibilities
Manage a varied docket of workers’ compensation files.
Conduct depositions and appear at mandatory settlement conferences.
Negotiate resolutions and draft settlement agreements.
Skills
Active membership in the California bar
Strong litigation skills
Exceptional written drafting
Oral advocacy
Case assessment abilities
Familiarity with case management software
Ability to juggle multiple matters
Education
Minimum of three years of experience
