  • Review WA L&I claims to ensure medical treatment, time loss compensation, vocational services, and PPD awards are appropriate and comply with Washington industrial insurance law
  • Coordinate with attending physicians, consulting doctors, employers, injured workers, vocational counselors, WA L&I claims managers, and other stakeholders to resolve claim issues
  • Submit timely, well‑supported written protests and/or appeals when L&I decisions or benefits do not align with the law or facts of the claim
  • Track deadlines and maintain accurate, well‑organized claim documentation
  • Assist employers with return‑to‑work and light‑duty programs, including job analyses and job offers
  • Clearly explain Washington industrial insurance law and WA L&I requirements to employer clients
  • Prepare for and represent employer interests in appeals, including BIIA‑related matters, consistent with applicable rules and internal protocols
  • Proactively manage your claim portfolio with planning, follow‑up, and clear client communication

Work may include a mix of:

  • Protests and appeals (issue spotting, drafting, deadline tracking, evidence organization)
