Redefine Healthcare in Matawan, NJ is hiring a full-time Workers’ Compensation Medical Billing Specialist to manage billing and collections for Workers’ Compensation claims. The role requires accurate submission, payment posting, and follow-up with carriers and adjusters.

You will post payments, ensure compliance with fee schedules, and work with providers and front desk staff to ensure timely reimbursement. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, sick time, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workers’ Compensation medical billing.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation claim processes and fee schedules.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit medical claims for Workers’ Compensation accurately and timely.
• Review patient accounts for complete claim information (claim number, employer, insurer, adjuster).
• Follow up with insurers, TPAs, and adjusters on status, payments and denials.
• Investigate and resolve denied or unpaid Workers’ Compensation claims with proper documentation.
