Redefine Healthcare in Matawan, NJ is seeking a full-time Ambulatory Surgery Center Collection Specialist to join our care-focused team. You will collaborate with physicians and billing staff to optimize collections for neurological, orthopedic, and pain-related services.

The role offers a 40-hour workweek with an hourly rate of $22-27, depending on experience and specialty, and a benefits package including PTO, health and life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance collections, healthcare billing, or revenue cycle operations within the ASC space.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding claims with insurance companies to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement.
• Research and resolve denied or unpaid claims in accordance with payer guidelines and center policies.
• Review patient accounts for billing accuracy and ensure proper coding and documentation are in place.
• Communicate professionally with payers to resolve discrepancies, appeal denials, and expedite payments.
• Collaborate with billing and coding teams to ensure claims are submitted correctly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer policies, insurance contracts, and industry regulations.
