Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of experience and will manage all phases of civil litigation from inception to trial with direct client contact. Remote/hybrid options may be available after training.

Requirements include NC bar or pending results, JD, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Expect collaboration within a team and opportunities for leadership development and AI-enabled practice

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or pending bar results.
• 1–5 years of workers' compensation experience encouraged.
• Willingness to learn and work autonomously and in a team setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong organizational ability.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans and budgets.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events; provide thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare for trial; maintain client communication.
