Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of experience and will manage all phases of civil litigation from inception to trial with direct client contact. Remote/hybrid options may be available after training.

Requirements include NC bar or pending results, JD, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Expect collaboration within a team and opportunities for leadership development and AI-enabled practice

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or pending bar results.
  • 1–5 years of workers' compensation experience encouraged.
  • Willingness to learn and work autonomously and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess new files to establish action plans and budgets.

  • Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of practice experience and will engage in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial, with direct client contact. Duties
  • Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
  • Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
  • Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
  • Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or pending bar exam results.
  • 1-5 years of prior workers' compensation experience encouraged.
  • Willingness to learn and work autonomously and within a team structure.
