A Workers Comp Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing workers' compensation claims within an organization. They collaborate with the workers' compensation Third-Party Administrators (TPA's), insurance providers, medical professionals, and legal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims, losses and return to work. Additionally, Workers Comp Analysts may develop strategies to minimize workplace injuries and provide recommendations for improving safety protocols. This role will manage the yearly OSHA Logs and BLS Surveys. Strong analytical skills, knowledge of workers' compensation laws, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role, and the associated financial impact.
