Job Summary

Maintain plant housekeeping, operate equipment, and monitor and transport raw materials.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate wheel bucket loader, dump truck, supersucker, water truck, and street sweeper.
2. Train as Production Assistant.
3. Unload raw materials.
4. Maintain plant housekeeping according to company standards.
5. Operate reclaimer/stacker to reclaim or stack raw materials.
6. Keep raw material piles pushed up and transport raw materials for production requirements.
7. Operate Bobcats within the plant.
8. Operate forklifts within the plant.
9. Use hand tools to repair equipment.
10. Read inspection reports and instructions.
11. Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations, wearing proper safety equipment.
12. Meet or exceed safety standards.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Meet background requirements per US Department of Justice licensing.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Knowledge of operating forklifts, loaders, trucks, and street sweepers.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and outdoor environments.
• Wear protective equipment.
• Work at heights over 5 stories.

Physical Requirements

• Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing.
• Exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, 20 pounds constantly.
• Communicate effectively around machinery.
• Operate controls involving pushing, turning, pulling.
