UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Utility Worker to join our community. As a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department, you will assist with maintaining the building and equipment systems by performing basic maintenance, plant utility functions, loading and unloading deliveries, painting, operating industrial equipment, and cleaning/blowdowns. We operate on a standard Monday - Friday work week with periodic night and weekend overtime. An immediate opening is available, and we provide on-the-job training.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform plant cleaning operations using equipment like floor scrubbers, lint/dust removal devices, and pressure washers.
2. Carry out painting tasks throughout the plant and on facility grounds.
3. Operate powered industrial forklifts/lifts to move materials.
4. Assist in loading/unloading trucks and production receiving activities.
5. Perform facilities upkeep, including landscaping and snow removal.
6. Conduct light equipment maintenance, fluid checks, bulb and tile replacements, and equipment cleaning after training.
7. Operate company vehicles, such as shuttle or route trucks, upon certification.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to operate industrial equipment and basic hand/power tools.
• Capable of reading, understanding procedures, and communicating effectively in English.
• Ability to work overtime and lift up to 80 lbs.
