Job summary

LCI is hiring a Utility Worker in Durham, NC. The role involves performing any job in the assigned department during absences or as directed by the supervisor. The position requires standing/walking for the full shift and the ability to operate all machines in the area.

Work is Monday–Friday, with a 7:00 AM–3:20 PM schedule at our Durham location. Applicants should have basic reading and math skills and prior production experience.

Qualifications

• Prior production experience in manufacturing settings.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Ability to bend from the waist to retrieve materials from pallets at ground level.
• Effective communication of standard methods to complete area tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or package product in department.
• Operate and/or run all machines in assigned department.
• Work at any of the assigned jobs as needed.
• Complete special assignments.
• Coordinate with Leads/Supervisor to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About This Role

Perform any job in assigned department during employee absence and/or as assigned by department supervisor or designee.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

Durham, NC

Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:20 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Leads/Supervisor to verify quality product is produced in efficient manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
