Job summary

Montclair State University seeks a Workday Technical Developer to enhance our Workday ecosystem across Finance, HCM, and Student modules. You will leverage Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, AI, and EIBs to deliver robust integrations and data insights.

The role involves configuring Workday applications, developing extensions, and maintaining integrations. A four-year Workday technical background is required, with stronger preference for higher education experience and security awareness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
Minimum four (4) years of professional experience in a Workday Technical Developer role or similar position with direct experience in Finance, HCM, or Student modules.
Demonstrated experience with Workday Integrations, including Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and EIBs.

Responsibilities

Customize and configure Workday applications to meet organizational requirements.
Develop Workday Extend.
Coordinate and support Workday Integrations including Core Connectors, Studio, and EIBs.
Develop, implement, and maintain Workday PRISM Analytics solutions to provide comprehensive data insights and support decision-making processes.
Assist in the optimization and usage of AI.
Provide system and end user support and guidance.
Troubleshoot and test Workday applications to ensure a strong day-to-day operation.
Document applications and integrations.
Create and maintain reports.
Provide findings, progress updates, and recommendations as needed.
