The analyst also manages change requests and drives process optimization to ensure solutions are scalable, functional, and aligned with project goals. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset—one that connects technical execution with broader business objectives.

  • Actively participate in Talent Management workstream calls to stay aligned on design decisions and share testing updates or implications when applicable
  • Own the full lifecycle of Workday Talent Management change requests—consult with stakeholders, shape requirements, drive submission and tracking (JIRA), assess downstream impact, lead UAT planning and execution, and ensure smooth deployment
  • Develop and maintain testing scenarios, scripts, and UAT plans; actively explore AI capabilities (e.g., eXpertGPT, Writer) to accelerate and enhance scenario creation and documentation
  • Lead TM testers in executing assigned scenarios—ensuring documentation is complete, timelines are met, and results align with expected outcomes
  • Evaluate upcoming WD Release Features, both Mandatory and Optional for potential impact on existing design, processes, and user experience
  • Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, and knowledge articles that support effective use of talent systems and processes
  • Fuel manager and employee success by creating clear, user-friendly documentation, training resources, and rollout support for WD updates.
  • Lead or support small-scale talent initiatives and reporting efforts; apply technical expertise to enhance Workday usage in alignment with performance and talent strategies
  • Analyze Workday talent data to uncover insights, inform planning efforts, and identify opportunities to improve processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred, advanced degree or equivalent work experience in an HR discipline highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources or related business functions.
  • Experience with Workday Talent Management or another form of Human Capital Technology, including testing, process support, and change request execution preferred
  • Demonstrated flexibility in a fast paced and changing environment required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships and establish a high level of credibility across functions, geographies, and lines of business required
  • Demonstrated ability to consult across business and technical teams to define, document, and refine system requirements and process flows
  • Experience coordinating complex projects in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Ability to assess the impact of system changes and new releases (Workday and other tools) and translate them into clear action plans
  • Experience or openness to using AI-enabled tools to improve documentation, testing, and knowledge management processes
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the flexibility to navigate ambiguity and evolving business needs.
