Job summary

OpenAI in San Francisco is seeking a People Technology Analyst to own Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Benefits configurations for US and international employees. You will independently configure, support, and enhance our HR systems, delivering reliable employee experiences from day one.

You will collaborate with Benefits, People Operations, Payroll, Finance, and Engineering to translate complex requirements into maintainable system designs, test changes, and drive automation and AI-assisted

Qualifications

Hands-on Workday across Absence and Time Tracking with integrated workflows.
Ownership of US and international Benefits configuration, including open enrollment.
Ability to translate complex policies into maintainable system designs.
Troubleshoot integrations with Payroll, Finance and other partners.

Responsibilities

Own Workday configuration and improvements across Absence, Time Tracking and Benefits.
Design and maintain absence rules, accruals, eligibility, and approvals for a global workforce.
Partner with Payroll to ensure data flows into payroll and test impacts of changes.
Lead benefits configuration for US and international programs and life events.
Manage open enrollment readiness, testing, launch, and vendor integrations.
Oversee new country/entity configurations and policy changes with local owners.
Own projects from discovery to adoption, plus post-launch performance monitoring.
Collaborate with engineers to improve integrations and automate workflows.
Maintain data security, quality, reporting, and change controls.
