Role Overview

Saronic Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Workday Senior Developer to support and scale our enterprise Financial Systems ecosystem. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, compliant, and scalable Workday Financials and integration solutions that support a rapidly growing, regulated organization.

This individual will operate within a structured enterprise technology environment and partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Enterprise Applications, Cybersecurity, and Integration teams. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong systems thinking, security awareness, and disciplined delivery execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable solutions within Workday Financials
2. Support core Financial modules and Accounting Center configuration and integrations
3. Translate complex Finance and Accounting requirements into robust technical solutions
4. Develop and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Workday APIs
5. Build and maintain reports including Standard, Advanced, Composite, and BIRT
6. Design and maintain Workday Orchestrate for Integrations (O4I) workflows
7. Partner with enterprise integration teams to ensure alignment with middleware, ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms
8. Ensure integrations and solutions align with enterprise architecture standards
9. Adhere to structured change management and release governance processes
10. Maintain clear documentation, traceability, and system integrity across environments
11. Implement secure integration patterns and enforce strong data governance practices
12. Operate within environments requiring controlled data handling and compliance rigor
13. Support audit readiness, segregation of duties, and internal control frameworks
14. Evaluate opportunities to leverage Workday Extend applications using IntelliJ or App Builder
15. Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
16. Identify technical debt and recommend modernization opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in Workday
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining Workday solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, and Reporting (Standard, Advanced, Composite, BIRT)
• 4+ years of experience working with Workday Financials applications
• Experience with Accounting Center preferred
• 3+ years of experience designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining Workday Orchestrate for Integrations (O4I) preferred
• Experience with Workday Extend applications using IntelliJ or App Builder is a plus
• Workday Studio Certification preferred
• Experience operating in regulated or compliance-focused environments preferred
• Familiarity with secure integration design, data governance principles, and enterprise control frameworks preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
