Join us as a Sightline Security Team Software Engineer to support security protocols within our Workday environment, focusing on user access controls, security monitoring, and policy compliance. The role involves supporting the implementation of security policies, maintaining documentation, and collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing user roles and permissions in Workday.
• Monitoring security logs and alerts.
• Supporting security policy implementation and compliance.
• Maintaining accurate security documentation.
• Collaborating with various teams within Johns Hopkins.

This position supports a complex environment with over 60,000 users and interfaces with more than 450 systems, supporting key functions across HR, finance, and other domains.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Understanding of ERP user provisioning and role-based access control.
• Knowledge of information security best practices.
• Experience with security audits, risk assessments, and incident response.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Four years of relevant experience in security, support, or related areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Workday systems.

Salary Range: $33.41/hour - $58.48/hour. Compensation will be based on experience and scope of responsibilities.
