SystemsAccountants in New York is seeking a skilled Workday Reporting Specialist to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive Workday reports for Finance, HR, and operations. The role emphasizes translating business needs into scalable reporting solutions and delivering timely insights to leadership.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in NYC office), with a base salary range of $115,000–$135,000 and a 5% annual performance bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Workday reporting experience.
• Proficiency in Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Workday reports.
• Strong calculated fields and report filter skills.
• Solid understanding of Workday data sources, business objects, and data relationships in HCM/Financials.
• Experience partnering with Finance/HR/FP&A stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication and Excel data validation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Workday reports across Standard, Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Trending types.
• Develop and maintain calculated fields to support complex reporting logic.
• Manage and optimize the report library to stay aligned with business needs.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, data discrepancies, and user inquiries promptly.
• Partner with Finance, HR, FP&A and other stakeholders to translate needs into Workday solutions.
• Provide training and documentation on report usage and self-service reporting.
