Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Workday Report Writer to design, develop, and optimize reporting solutions within Workday HCM. You will partner with HR, Finance, IT, and operations to gather requirements and deliver custom reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

The role involves building advanced reports, RaaS outputs, and managing Prism datasets, with a strong focus on security, accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction. A background in Workday reporting and Prism is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Workday reporting experience.
• Expertise in Workday Report Writer and calculated fields; hands‑on Prism experience.
• Strong data analysis, report development, and understanding of Workday HCM.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to translate reporting requirements into deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports enabling data-driven decision‑making.
• Build advanced, matrix, composite reports and RaaS outputs.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Validate report accuracy and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Assist with Workday upgrades, testing, and report validation.
• Document report logic and maintain reporting standards and catalogs.
• Ensure reports follow Workday security logic to protect data privacy and compliance.
• Create and manage Prism datasets and derived data, integrating with Workday sources.
