Job summary

FastTek Global in Denver is seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager / Implementation Consultant to lead enterprise-wide implementations of Workday Financial Management and Workday HCM. This role serves as the internal project lead, managing planning, governance, execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, testing, training, and deployment.

The ideal candidate has significant experience directing multiple Workday Financials deployments and delivering ERP transformations involving

Responsibilities

Manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, budgets, timelines, and status reports for executive management.
Support governance activities including data, document, and meeting management; leadership reporting.
Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, Change Management, Corporate Communications and external vendors on project plans.
Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
Serve as the primary contact between the Company and external Workday System Integrator (SI).
Establish governance, communications, escalation paths, and decision-making processes with internal stakeholders and the SI.
Review and challenge implementation recommendations to ensure alignment with objectives and best practices.
Monitor SI performance against plans, milestones, budgets, and contractual obligations.
Coordinate design workshops, status meetings, issue resolution, and steering committee reviews.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
