Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process payroll across multiple locations using Workday Payroll and Workday HCM. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations to maintain payroll integrity and resolve employee inquiries.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of payroll processing experience and at least 2 years of Workday Payroll experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of Workday Payroll experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll.
• Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Experience with payroll taxes and garnishments, with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time across locations.
• Review payroll data for hours, earnings, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and reimbursements.
• Validate changes for new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and pay adjustments.
• Audit employee data in Workday and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end processing (W-2s).
• Educate employees on payroll policies and procedures and respond to inquiries.
• Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations to ensure data accuracy and drive process improvements.
