Pay Rate / Salary (Ranges OK) : $80k-$120k/yr

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
2–3 years of hands-on experience with Workday Payroll implementations.
At least 2 years of end-to-end configuration experience with Workday Payroll within the last 3 years.
Certified in Workday United States Payroll.
Proven ability to build complex payroll calculations.
Experience handling multiple employment positions.
Familiarity with implementing payroll systems across multiple FEINs (Federal Employer Identification Numbers).
U.S.-SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
Strong understanding of state and local taxation and FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) calculations.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Broad knowledge of Workday Payroll, U.S. Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence products, including how they integrate with benefits and other HR or finance systems.
Familiarity with payroll compliance (e.g., tax, garnishments, common pay master rules), retirement plans (e.g., 401k), payroll processing, union/collective bargaining agreements, and payroll accounting.
Strong customer focus with the ability to assess needs, manage expectations, build trust, and effectively escalate when needed.
Excellent communication skills, able to present to senior stakeholders and work empathetically with clients and colleagues, including remotely.
Commercial awareness and a solid understanding of project and business environments.
General knowledge of technology trends and processes in HR, payroll, financials, or ERP systems.
Able to manage deadlines and make informed decisions under pressure.
Experience expanding and maintaining external professional networks.
Strong consulting skills, including leading workshops and explaining complex functionality to clients.
Willing to contribute to internal practice improvement and participate in team knowledge sharing.
Capable of mentoring junior team members or managing direct reports.
Comfortable providing post-go-live support and collaborating with managed services teams.
Interested in improving internal tools and delivery processes.
Understands utilization targets in a services organization.
Willing to rotate across various Workday delivery functions as needed.
Ability to travel regionally to client sites, with limited out-of-region travel possible.
REQUIRED
Certification in Workday U.S. Payroll (required).
Experience supporting clients post-implementation.
