Job summary

Healthcare IT Leaders, LLC seeks a Senior Workday Payroll Consultant to lead design, standardization, and optimization of payroll across a multi-entity healthcare network. You will harmonize rules, calendars, and tax treatments while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

This 12-month, on-site role in Valhalla, NY requires SME expertise in Workday Payroll, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Legal, and Finance to drive standardized processes and controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of extensive experience in Workday Payroll configuration and deployment.
• Proven experience leading enterprise payroll standardization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and multi-entity environments.
• Experience with healthcare payroll or regulated industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, standardization, and optimization of payroll processes across the network.
• Harmonize pay rules, earnings codes, deductions, and calendars across entities.
• Establish governance for payroll configuration changes and version control.
• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll including taxes, retro processing, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Support parallel testing, validation, and reconciliation during deployment.
• Ensure integration with Time Tracking, Absence Management, Benefits, and Financials.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and audits.
• Partner with Legal, HR, and Compliance to mitigate payroll risk.
