Qualifications

• 8+ years of Workday experience leading Payroll implementations or AMS engagements.
• Deep US payroll mastery including tax rules, retro logic, earnings/deductions, FLSA, and EIB data conversions.
• Global payroll experience with Workday SKUs for Canada, UK, France, Ireland, or Australia.
• Knowledge of Workday HCM, security, Advanced Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Data Analysis touchpoints.
• Advanced Excel skills for large datasets: manipulation, auditing, reconciliation.

What You’ll Do

• Be the Ultimate SME: Lead strategic, high-impact Workday Payroll initiatives—from complex post-production optimizations and Phase X rollouts to multi-country enhancements with total autonomy.
• Architect End-to-End Solutions: Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot complex payroll setups.
• Connect the Dots: Master the cross-functional ripple effects. You’ll optimize touchpoints between Payroll, HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Finance to ensure system harmony.
• Partner with Executives: Conduct high-level working sessions, translate business objectives into scalable Workday architecture, and advise global client leaders on industry best practices.
• Elevate the Practice: Mentor rising consultants, share wisdom across our knowledge repository, and help us continuously innovate how we deliver Workday services.

What You Bring

• 8+ Years of Workday Experience: A proven track record leading Workday Payroll implementations or complex AMS engagements as a lead consultant or architect.
• Deep US Payroll Mastery: Complete command over US statutory requirements, tax rules, retro logic, complex earnings/deductions, FLSA calculation rules, and EIB data conversions.
• Global Payroll Experience: Hands-on experience or deep technical familiarity with Workday Payroll SKUs for Canada, UK, France, Ireland, or Australia.
• Ecosystem Breadth: Strong proficiency in understanding Workday HCM, Security, Advanced Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Data Analysis touchpoints.
• Advanced Excel Skills: You can manipulate, audit, and reconcile massive datasets effortlessly.
• The Act Like an Owner Mindset: Exceptional communication, a keen eye for details, the ability to see around corners, and a genuine passion for high-touch customer success.
