About the role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our global Mercer Workday integration practice team at Mercer. This role will be a remote position located within the United States.
What you need to have
- 1-3 years of Workday implementation experience
- Completion of three full implementations with Workday HCM or Financial Integrations
- Workday Integrations Pro Certification
- Familiarity with XSLT, Java, JavaScript, .NET, CSS, REST/SOAP API, and cloud-based web services
- Travel may be required based on customer needs
- Experience supervising and managing integration staff
- A collaborative spirit, capable of building positive relationships at all organizational levels
Responsibilities
- Grow your technical skills, project management abilities, and consulting expertise.
- Engage directly with clients, collaborating with subject matter experts from both client and vendor sides, as well as Mercer delivery teams.
- Apply your knowledge of design principles and integration patterns to create system solutions.
- Utilize your computer science skills and Workday integration tools to develop, test, and deploy integrations throughout the Workday lifecycle.
- Support multiple client engagements, mentor offshore teams, and contribute to project success.
- Implement integrations in HR and Financial functional areas for Fortune 1000 companies.
Preferred qualifications
- Recent graduates with a degree in MIS or CS eager to work as developers and consultants.
- Experience with ERP systems, databases, data warehouses, data lakes, authentication/authorization, and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting, Workday Prism, and Workday Studio is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
- Understanding of API design (RESTful, GraphQL), microservices, and event-driven systems.
