About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our global Mercer Workday integration practice team at Mercer. This role will be a remote position located within the United States.

What you need to have

• 1-3 years of Workday implementation experience
• Completion of three full implementations with Workday HCM or Financial Integrations
• Workday Integrations Pro Certification
• Familiarity with XSLT, Java, JavaScript, .NET, CSS, REST/SOAP API, and cloud-based web services
• Travel may be required based on customer needs
• Experience supervising and managing integration staff
• A collaborative spirit, capable of building positive relationships at all organizational levels

Responsibilities

• Grow your technical skills, project management abilities, and consulting expertise.
• Engage directly with clients, collaborating with subject matter experts from both client and vendor sides, as well as Mercer delivery teams.
• Apply your knowledge of design principles and integration patterns to create system solutions.
• Utilize your computer science skills and Workday integration tools to develop, test, and deploy integrations throughout the Workday lifecycle.
• Support multiple client engagements, mentor offshore teams, and contribute to project success.
• Implement integrations in HR and Financial functional areas for Fortune 1000 companies.

Preferred qualifications

• Recent graduates with a degree in MIS or CS eager to work as developers and consultants.
• Experience with ERP systems, databases, data warehouses, data lakes, authentication/authorization, and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with Workday reporting, Workday Prism, and Workday Studio is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
• Understanding of API design (RESTful, GraphQL), microservices, and event-driven systems.
