The Workday Integrations Consultant will bridge the gap between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation. They must have a technical aptitude and be capable of configuring the project to meet the business and design qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns applicable for all clients in their portfolio.
- Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
- Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.
- Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping the client, the project team, and the Engagement Manager updated on changes or progress related to the project.
- Willingness to take a leadership position on a project, or as a Cognizant Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
- Display hands-on expertise of the software, including loading client data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
- Utilize technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
- Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, including providing support for shadow assignments.
- Participate in update training and internal opportunities to share skills and learnings within the organization.
Skills and Requirements:
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.)
- Project experience is highly desired.
- Workday Integration, Workday Studio™, and Workday CCTPPTM certification preferred.
- Confident facilitation and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering discipline preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
