AlphaGov seeks an experienced Workday Implementation Lead / SME to pursue city, county, and state Workday ERP opportunities. You will lead or support full lifecycle deployments on proposals and, if awarded, on implementations.

You will deliver Workday across HCM, Financials, Procurement, Payroll, and Integrations, serving as PM or functional lead coordinating agency stakeholders, the prime SI, and IT/finance teams.

• Experience with testing, data migration, and end-user training.

• Design and oversee integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors) and data migration from PeopleSoft and other legacy systems.
• Plan and deliver organizational change management, end-user training, and go-live readiness.
• Contribute Workday qualifications, staffing approach, and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned.

AlphaGov is seeking an experienced Workday Implementation Lead / SME to support city, county, and state Workday ERP pursuits, whether AlphaGov is subcontracting under a Workday system integrator or teaming with partners. You would bring hands-on Workday HCM, Financials, Procurement, Payroll, and Integrations delivery experience to proposals and, upon award, to implementation workstreams.

What you'll do:

• Lead or support Workday implementation workstreams (HCM, Financials, Procurement, Payroll) from plan and architect through configure, test, deploy, and post-production stabilization
• Serve as Workday PM or functional lead, coordinating agency stakeholders, the prime Workday system integrator, and IT and finance teams
• Design and oversee integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors) and data migration from PeopleSoft and other legacy systems
• Plan and deliver organizational change management, end-user training, and go-live readiness
• Contribute Workday qualifications, staffing approach, and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned

Required:

• Hands-on Workday implementation experience as a project manager, functional lead, or senior consultant on at least one full lifecycle deployment
• Deep functional expertise in one or more of Workday HCM, Financials, Procurement, or Payroll
• Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors) and data conversion from PeopleSoft or other legacy systems
• Experience with testing, cutover, organizational change management, and end-user training
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites

Nice to have:

• Public-sector Workday implementations for cities, counties, states, or higher education
• Prior work at a Workday partner or system integrator (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, Collaborative Solutions/Cognizant, Alight, Huron, Sierra-Cedar, Kainos)
• Current or prior Workday certifications (HCM, Financials, Payroll, Integrations, or related)
