Job summary

Meridian Bioscience Inc. is seeking an experienced HRIS Manager to lead our Workday ecosystem, governance, and data quality. You will manage configuration, security, reporting, integrations, and release support in partnership with HR and IT.

The role drives global HR technology standards, coordinates with process owners, and ensures compliant, scalable solutions while enabling user adoption and policy alignment. 3+ years leadership and Workday expertise preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRIS/Info Systems or related field.
• Six+ years HRIS/HCM experience including 3+ years Workday configuration/administration.
• Led at least one Workday module, major enhancement, or process improvement.
• Advanced Core HCM, Workday security, reporting, calculated fields, data loads, and integrations.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and vendors; prior people leadership preferred.
• Experience in global or multi-entity environments preferred.
• Formal Workday training or accreditation preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR, payroll, total rewards, talent, recruiting, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of Workday security, role-based access, data privacy, audit controls, and change management.
• Working knowledge of Workday integrations and tools (EIBs, connectors, APIs).
• Strong reporting and data-analysis skills; dashboards and data validation.
• Project coordination, testing, documentation, and change-adoption capabilities.
• Travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the HRIS operating model and Workday roadmap.
• Supports Workday product/module implementations and releases.
• Leads requirements discovery and end-to-end solution design.
• Owns Workday architecture, security, and data governance.
• Ensures governance, testing, migration, and release processes are followed.
• Partners with HR, Finance, IT, and Compliance to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Leads, coaches, and develops the HRIS team and ensures cross-training.
