Job summary
The Pennsylvania State University is seeking two Business Analysts to support Workday HRIS functions across Payroll, Benefits, Timekeeping, Absence, and Recruiting. The role partners with HR, payroll, and talent teams to translate business needs into Workday solutions and to drive process improvements.
Flexible work arrangements are supported; positions may operate fully remote within the United States with standard eastern time hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience applying BA methodologies to HRIS projects.
- Ability to elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience with Workday or other enterprise HRIS platforms preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition to understand objectives.
- Elicit, document, analyze, and validate requirements.
- Develop business process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
- Support Workday configuration, releases, and improvements.
- Collaborate with data teams to define reporting needs.
