Summary:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will serve as a business function and system expert for module(s) or sub-module(s) of the new Workday ERP system. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and document requirements for business processes, including highly complex processes. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will utilize those requirements to identify appropriate technical solutions and any associated business process enhancements for the future state system. The position will contribute to testing and training activities, including documentation and execution. Additionally, the Senior Business Systems Analyst will manage moderately sized sub-projects within the functional area and provide mentorship to less experienced analysts.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering: Gather, organize, and document business, user, and functional requirements for processes, including highly complex, multi-step, multi-system processes involving various stakeholder groups. Conduct stakeholder interviews and synthesize documentation to inform solutions.
2. Prioritization: Prioritize requirements based on key metrics, reviewing analysis to ensure alignment with these metrics.
3. Designing Future State Processes: Translate business requirements into human-centered functional design specifications, redefining processes as needed to improve efficiency and alignment with technical solutions.
4. Testing: Create and document test scenarios for complex functions, validate functionality, and review results to ensure solutions work as expected.
5. Documentation: Develop detailed business process and technical specifications to communicate requirements and solutions effectively to all stakeholders.

Other responsibilities include end-user training, project management, providing guidance to analysts, and leadership support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Eight years of progressively responsible experience in a relevant functional area or systems analysis.
• Four years of experience as an ERP system user, with skills in scoping, requirements gathering, documentation, testing, training, and support.
• Interpersonal and technical skills to diagnose problems and develop solutions across organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, finance, supply chain, information systems, computer science, or related field.

Salary ranges from $47.58 to $76.13 per hour, commensurate with experience. Johns Hopkins prioritizes employee health and well-being and values diversity and inclusion, fostering a welcoming environment for all.
