Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks an HR Product Owner, Workday Configuration (Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking) for Global Industrial. You will own Workday configuration strategy, partner with HR Technology, and maintain system integrity to enable effective business processes across global sites.

Key responsibilities include leading design sessions, coordinating with technology teams and vendors, and ensuring alignment with Workday roadmap while protecting data confidentiality and process accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ configuration experience in Workday modules (HCM including Security)
• Functional expertise in HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Payroll or Talent & Recruiting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities with urgency
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and collaborate across teams
• Team player with flexibility to adapt to change and learn continuously

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with global stakeholders and SMEs.
• Manage Workday configuration strategy with HR leadership.
• Lead and facilitate configuration sessions with global partners.
• Partner with internal tech teams and vendors to align processes and systems.
• Create proof of concepts from business requirements and propose end-to-end processes.
• Document requirements and perform system configuration functions.
• Stay informed of Workday roadmap and contribute to GPC Workday plans.
• Participate in Workday Community and advocate for business needs.
