Job summary

Northeastern University in Boston is seeking a Reporting & Data Analyst for HR Platforms to support Workday HCM/Payroll reporting, SQL queries, and data analytics. You will translate complex business requirements into accurate, actionable workforce insights, partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, and college/division HR stakeholders.

Qualifications

Degree in a related field is required.
3–5 years in HR data analytics, HR systems, or reporting.
Strong Workday HCM/Payroll understanding and reporting experience.
Experience with large HR datasets and data quality issues.
Prior higher education HR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance Workday HCM/Payroll reports and SQL queries.
Analyze HR and Payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies.
Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
Provide advanced Excel-based analysis and data reconciliation.
Support testing/validation during Workday releases and changes.
