Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Workday HCM Optimization Manager in the Washington, DC area to lead the optimization program, drive production support, assessments, and Phase X deployments. You will design solutions, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and ensure successful tenant optimizations.

You will lead sessions, capture requirements, and guide teams through build, testing, and demonstrations, with a focus on high customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday HCM or ERP experience in an HCM capacity.
• Experience delivering structured projects with a methodical approach.
• Strong written and oral communication with client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Optimization program for the Workday Practice, including production support and assessments.
• Design, build, and support testing of Workday modules for clients' tenants.
• Capture requirements and guide cross-functional teams to delivery.
• Present Workday demos and client sessions, driving customer satisfaction.

Job Family:SAAS/PAAS/Cloud ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 25%Clearance Required:NoneWhat You Will Do:From initial assessments to entire transformations, you'll deliver Workday solutions to equip organizations with the information they need to optimize their Workday environmentsAs a Workday HCM Optimization Manager at Guidehouse, you will:Manage in the Optimization program for the Workday Practice. This includes activities related to production support, planned assessments, and Phase X deploymentsBe responsible for leading the design and development of solutions for our customers who are optimizing their Workday tenant or in a Phase X deploymentBe hands on for assigned projects helping to streamline client processesLead optimization sessions, capture client requirements, build/configure creative solutions and work with other Workday consultantsResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Work directly with clients and/or consultants to capture requirements and design documentsGuide the team in the design, build, and support testing of Workday modulesActively communicate with other team members on cross functional itemsResponsible to communicate functional challenges and solutions to internal and client teamsLead in an innovative, teaming culture to enable constant innovation and improvement to processes and assetsDemonstrate consultative skillsHave a passion for high customer satisfaction levelsWhat You Will Need:Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of experience using Workday HCM or other ERPs in an HCM capacity; OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of experience using Workday HCM or other ERPs in an HCM capacity. Years of experience can be substituted for a formal degree, such as no degree with NINE (9) years of experience using Workday HCM or other ERPs in an HCM capacityA MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of work experience with WorkdayCurrent holder of the following Workday Certifications: HCM CoreExperience with the execution of projects within a structured methodologySolid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPointStrong written and oral communication skills (RFP responses, white papers, etc.) and presentation skills such as Workday demonstrations and client presentationsUp to 25% travel with a focus on work from home and/or Guidehouse office; consultants may provide on-site support for key milestones as neededWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Workday Public Sector experience preferredCurrent holder of an active Workday HCM CertificationExtensive knowledge using Microsoft productsThe annual salary range for this position is $118,000.00-$196,000.00.
