Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Workday HCM Architect/Lead to guide a team of Workday AMS specialists and drive end-to-end implementations. You will configure Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, and security modules while aligning with business goals.

In this role you will analyze requirements, translate them into scalable Workday solutions, mentor peers, ensure governance, and lead testing and deployment of Workday releases, maintaining documentation and data privacy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IS, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of Workday HCM hands-on configuration experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Expertise in Workday HCM modules: Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Security, Reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Workday AMS specialists.
• Perform hands-on implementation and configuration across Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, etc.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain documentation, configuration standards, and governance protocols.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and audit requirements.
• Lead testing and deployment of Workday releases and enhancements.
