Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Workday Financials Analyst to support projects and initiatives aligned with the Workday roadmap. The role involves applying hands-on Workday Financials and ERP experience, driving process improvements, and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will assist with testing, data validation, and change management while documenting controls and reporting. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail are essential for timely issue resolution and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, or related business systems, preferably including Workday Financials.
• Understanding of financial processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, assets, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to support projects and partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills, with the ability to develop recommendations and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support projects and workstreams by recommending enhancements to configuration and administration that align with the Workday Financials roadmap.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and scalable recommendations.
• Support testing efforts, data validation, and quality assurance for new features and enhancements.
• Document controls, governance processes, and reporting solutions to support consistent system use.
