Base pay range

$107.00/hr - $114.00/hr

Workday Financials Functional Consultant

Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote in USA Only)

Contract Duration: 12 months

Rate: $107–$114.68/hr. (based on experience)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Workday Financials Functional Consultant with strong experience in Accounts Payable, Banking & Settlement modules. You will play a key role in system implementation, working collaboratively with both functional and technical teams to ensure a successful rollout.

Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of Workday Accounts Payable, Banking & Settlement, and Adaptive Planning (Budget) modules.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with implementation partners and technical staff to align configurations with legal and industry standards.
• Create and execute test plans; coordinate system testing and troubleshooting.
• Document system designs, functional specs, training materials, and change management plans.
• Assist in communication planning, training sessions, and user support.
• Evaluate enhancements and contribute to best practice recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Functional knowledge of Workday Financials modules, including AP and banking integrations.
• Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and training materials.
• Experience with system evaluation, functional architecture, and business process improvement.
• Ability to liaise effectively between business and technical teams.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years hands-on with Workday Accounts Payable, Banking & Settlement
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with public sector financials
• Ability to write/interpret functional requirements and develop related configurations.
• Proficiency in Workday report development and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of on-time, high-quality project delivery.
