Blue Yonder Supply Planning – Techno-Functional Consultant

Client: Supply Chain Client

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Remote Work Available)

Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Extension)

Rate: $65

EXP: 8 to 12 years

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Blue Yonder Supply Planning Techno-Functional Consultant to join a leading supply chain client. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional focus (80% functional / 20% technical) with a proven track record in Blue Yonder Fulfillment (not Demand Planning). This role is pivotal in driving key supply planning initiatives, including full-cycle implementations, configuration, integration, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Blue Yonder Supply Planning (Fulfillment) projects from inception through implementation and post-go-live support.
• Configure and optimize Blue Yonder Fulfillment modules with a deep understanding of SCPO processes.
• Participate in solution design, architecture planning, and configuration based on client needs.
• Coordinate and manage integration efforts between Blue Yonder modules and third-party systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
• Conduct testing (System, UAT), training sessions, and provide ongoing production support.
• Assist in gap analysis, strategic roadmap development, and blueprint creation.
• Support project planning, milestone tracking, and timely delivery aligned with scope and budget.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8 + years of hands-on experience in Blue Yonder Supply Planning (Fulfillment only) – Cloud version preferred.
• Full lifecycle implementation experience with Blue Yonder Fulfillment, including configuration and process optimization.
• Experience with Blue Yonder SCPO suite; exposure to Inventory Optimization is a plus.
• Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Planning processes with a solid understanding of dependencies and integration points.
• Proven success in planning, executing, and managing large-scale IT and Blue Yonder-related projects.
• Experience in requirement gathering, future state design, functional specifications, and UAT/training support.
• Ability to translate technical processes into business language and communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with knowledge management solutions, collaboration platforms, and relevant integration technologies.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and client interaction skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with gap analysis and long-term strategic planning for supply chain transformation.
• Prior experience with large, complex, full life cycle (FLC) implementations.
• Comfortable leading conversations with business teams and end users across functions.
