Job summary

American Credit Acceptance seeks a Financial Systems Specialist II to advance our financial systems with Workday Financials, Alteryx automation, and AI-enabled processes. You will partner with Controllership, IT, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and continually improve scalable, automated financial solutions.

This role emphasizes building automated data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and delivering efficient workflows across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent with GPA 3.0+.
• Strong knowledge of ERP financial systems.
• Experience with automation tools and AI-enabled processes.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python and large data handling.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in Workday Financials and related modules.
• Design, build, and optimize Alteryx workflows for data prep and reporting.
• Identify AI-enabled automation within Workday and other systems.
• Collaborate with Controllership, IT, and business teams.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Provide day-to-day support and continuous improvement of financial systems.
• Configure, test, and deploy Workday configurations and integrations.
• Develop and maintain system integrations and automated data pipelines.
• Ensure data integrity through automated validations and reconciliations.
• Lead or support small-to-medium Agile projects.
• Create and maintain documentation and update policies.
