Job summary

Unity is seeking a Workday Finance Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Systems team, embedded as a key partner to the Finance organization.

You will own the day-to-day configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Workday Financials, serving as the primary point of escalation for Finance team requests while also driving the delivery of strategic system initiatives that support Unity's broader business priorities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials configuration and support in a BA/FA role.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Financial Management modules and security/config.
• Experience gathering requirements, gap analysis, and writing functional specs.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes related to Workday.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Workday Financials admin and day-to-day support for Finance.
• Diagnose and resolve Workday Financials configuration issues across modules.
• Gather, document, and translate requirements into Workday designs.
• Deliver enhancements, new features, and process improvements in Workday.
• Participate in semi-annual Workday release cycles and UAT testing.
• Maintain up-to-date system documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Systems on Workday HCM and Integrations.
• Support strategic priorities like automation and reporting improvements.
• Bridge Finance and IT to ensure controlled, low-disruption changes.
• Manage tickets and project tasks with intake and prioritization.
