Job summary

Saksoft in New York City seeks a Workday Finance Functional Consultant to lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and stakeholder engagement for finance transformation initiatives.

The role requires Workday Financials expertise with at least one end-to-end implementation, collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT teams, and strong communication skills to drive post-go-live improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive Workday Finance Functional Consultant experience with end-to-end implementation exposure.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Expenses, Asset Management and Financial Reporting.
• Experience with Workday Financial Management configuration and testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Workday Financials certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering workshops and perform fit-gap analysis with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into Workday Finance solutions and functional design.
• Configure and support Workday Financial modules and business processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Support data validation testing, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and user documentation.
• Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous process improvements.
• Ensure alignment with financial controls compliance and reporting requirements.
